The Sacred Heart Provincial House chapel in which the tomb of the Servant of God mathew Kadalikkattil situates, is around one kilometer away from main bridge along the palai - ponkunnam route in Kottayam district , Kerala, India. Thousands of people belonging to different caste and creed from far and near come to this tomb bearing witness to his holiness and power of intercession and speaking of various favours obtained through his intercession
The residence of Fr.Mathew at Kannadiurumpu where he stayed for about fourteen years is shifted to the premises of the chapel of Sacred Heat Provincial House Palai. There are the exhibits of the items related to the life of Fr.Mathew, the chalice , vestments, missel, prayer and meditation books and the other pious articles used by him and given to others. The cot, chairs used various places almaraha and confessional are also exhibited here.
